Job Openings


Monday-Friday 8-5

Must be familiar with denial codes and able to electronically and manually post payments and adjustments. 

  1. File all Texas and Arkansas Blue Cross Plans Claims. This involves making sure all correct information is printed on the claims before mailing them.
  2. Works all above insurance denials. Must decide why a claim was denied, correct it if possible and re-file as soon as possible.
  3. If a procedure is denied that we cannot collect on, maybe the procedure is bundled or global, then you must write up a request for a write off to forward to Data Department.
  4. Answer phone calls from the patients or other departments.
  5. File all supplement insurance claims, which involves matching the claims with the Blue Cross EOB’s and mailing them.
  6. Order claims form EOB’s that don’t have a matched claim and vice versa.
  7. Audits are still being performed on any accounts on the AS400, to figure the patient’s true balance.
  8. Trouble shooter for AHIN and all of AR Blue Cross Blue Shield, USABLE, Health Advantage, and First Pyramid.
  9. Collom & Carney’s direct contact for any denied claims or other problems that may arise with AR BCBS, USABLE, Health Advantage.
  1. High school graduate or equivalent.
  2. Computer experience.
  3. Must know how to use a CPT book and ICD-10 book. At least 2 -4 weeks of training is required.
  4. At least one year follow-up experience on claims is desirable.

Data/Insurance - Data Entry Clerk

M-F 8am to 5pm

To perform the necessary clerical work for recording business transactions with the clinic and contact from other departments to make the necessary corrections either by journal or memo to the patient accounts. Must have basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable and ten key by touch.

CMA - Westside - Dr. Tarpley

Under direct general supervision of Physician the Office Assistant is to assist and perform general nursing duties in the course of providing care and treatment of patients in an office and/or hospital setting. Pleasant, courteous disposition with the ability to work with patients as well as employees and physicians. Professional in conduct and appearance.

Part Time - Central Supply Clerk

Part Time M-F 1pm to 5pm

To assist with supplies for each department, track inventory and stock flow. To check in supplies and let purchaser know when supplies are needed. Will assist Accounts Payable as needed. 

Fill department requisitions.
Restock Supplies into inventory after checking in.
Answer Telephone
Sign for deliveries, check items against packing slip.
